Ab||---2---|---9---| Db||-------|---9---| Db||-------| Db||-------| Ab||---5---| Db||---5---| Ab||---5---| Db||---5---| Transcribed by Sancco ([email protected]) [standard tuning] Date: Thu, 14 Aug 2003 19:15:26 -0700 (PDT) From: Mark Miller <[email protected]> Subject: s/staind/epiphany.crd This is a very easy and very good acoustic song off Break The Cycle. It was originally recorded in DADGAD tuning, but it can easily be transcribed for EADGBE tuning. To be in the original key, you can tune down one whole step to still be in standard tuning (DGCFAD). The chord names for standardtuning are written above the chord, while the chord names for standard tuning one step down are in parentheses. Either way, this sounds pretty good. Just listen to the CD for rhythm. Intro/Verses: E5 (D5) Asus2 (Gsus2) E5 (D5) Asus2 (Gsus2) Your words... Your face... I try... This chord is a different voicing of the actual chord Aaron Lewis plays in the song. The C#m11 adds a little more suspension to the chord and it allows the high e string to continue to serve as a drone, but the C#m7 is easier to play, so it's up to you which one to use. C#m11 (Bm11) e|-----0----------| b|-----6----------| g|-----4----------| d|-----6----------| a|-----4----------| e|----------------| That's all!
